What this is:

This is a technical training / coaching service that helps safety professionals and transport compliance managers to quickly gain the skills, knowledge and resources required to understand and comply with the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL), including the Chain of Responsibility (CoR) provisions.

Why this is important:

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and competency (training / qualifications) of relevant people are part of an organisation's transport activities (business practices).

Supply chain participants have a general duty to ensure that their transport activities are safe - A.K.A the CoR obligation - it is important that SOPs have the correct information, are able to be followed and that the people responsible for them have the correct skills and knowledge to adjust and revise them to ensure that they continue to be  effective.

Reviewing and ensuring that these systems are effective also helps to fulfill due diligence (governance) obligations of the HVNL.

Who this is for:

HVNL Support works with Safety Managers in organisations that load or unload heavy vehicles but are not controlling or directing the use of those vehicles for example, Distribution Centers, Manufacturing facilities, Quarries, Waste facilities, etc. who need technical support in to assess and control the risks associated with their transport activities.

HVNL Support also provides guidance to new Compliance Managers in transport companies to ensure that they are able to "get up the curve" quickly.

Once the knowledge foundations are laid we provide ongoing coaching / mentoring to support them to develop, implement and report on their compliance management systems.

Why you want to work with HVNL Support:
